frank's world

hello fantastic fans.........

the full running order for my "happening" on friday 2nd june is as follows

6pm in the octagon outside gallery number 9 ( the turner bit) i welcome you to the tate with a 20 minute live slection of songs from my forthcoming new album and old classics, plus the unveiling of the "frank's world" mosaic (see todays guardian news paper).
i will return to this stage again at 7pm. 8pm and finally 9pm for more live music.
for info on the screening of my new tv show, art and lectures .......read on.........

at 6.20pm i will be showing on a big screen in the octagon the world premier of my new animated tv show "frank's world" which is 11 minutes long, this will again be shown at 7.20pm, 8.20pm and 9.20.

at 7,35, and 8.35 i will be in the special 160 seater capacity viewing lecture theatre (tickets free on the day) to do two lectures with slides on "how to keep pets" and "how to dress up for a fancy dress party" this will be followed by two more further screenings of the animated tv show on the lacture screen.

between all this there is a screen in the bar area where they will be showing the reem-leema documentary "the making of frank's world" and i will be doing some fantastic art ..live.

mr, kennedy who did the mosaic....wil be there........mr. hopkins, mr. fletcher,mrs. mustoe and the knitting lady who all worked on the tv show will be there...... and russ the webmaster will be there sending the whole thing out on this site...so come and chat with us all. there is a planned tour of the gallery too...
and remember it's ...tate britain.....on millbank (nearest tube pimlico).. you know it is ....it really is.....

......yes fans ,..there's even more stick insects in the tank now,,. (or maybe just more sticks .only joking)

..but at the last moment i have changed the titles on my "frank's world" animated tv show .....read on....

.....yes the tilte sequence has been completley changed and a brand new one will now be on the begining
for my world prem at the tate on friday.
i've been doing some last minute organizing with web master russ, so for those who can't get to the tate, you can watch it on a new special showbiz live web cam section that will be on this sight on the 2nd june.(later to be part of "timperley tv" (more about that next month)
also on friday for a week will be a special run of the original title sequence for those who are interested..
.......but best of all.......
..on friday..you my ace fans will be able to see a sneak preview of the "frank's world" animation on the
www.reema-leema.co.uk site for the next week untill the dvd comes out.

i'll keep you posted on all new developements......

hello ace, fantastic and top fans.........

my pilot tv episode is now finished....... more about that in a min......
i've also started going through my pictures for the photo gallery as a dvd extra,
and there are millions of them.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
............read on..........

.....yes, up to now there are over 500 photos in the gallery and i've only used about 10% of what iv'e been through up to now, and i'm not even half way through my photos yet, and that's only the ones that have been taken in the last year, and that's only mine...... there's all of russ's, and the knitting lady's, and all my secret surface agents, or mrs. forrest, or mr chopkins, or press photos, and rogers....... and that is not including all the photos sent in by you fantastic fans.....(or any of my mum's !}

but the great news is that the animation is now finished and it's called......

"frank's world" episode one, "mr. gallagher's boat"

and it'll be shown at the tate gallery next friday, and special copies be on sale on the day.
the tate have also got a special 160 seater capasity viewing theatre which will show it twice at 7.50pm and 8.50pm. there are 4 showings on the big screen outside gallery number nine, at 6.20pm and on the hour after that till 9.20. and it will be shown in the bar all night from 6 till 10 along with a documentary all about me and the animation. ..... more to follow....... thank you... frank sidebottom

i've been going through my 8mm super 8 home movies, and may include some as dvd extras.......
also i'v some more concert details for june.......
i've been invited to play one of them big grand pianos in ambleside, so i need to get the knitting lady to make me a pink bowtie...........

friday 30th june, normans piano bar, ambleside. (a night of me at the grand piano....pink bowtie on)
and i'm going to try and upload a file now , so it pops up

yesterday and today i was recording some new music and sorting out some photos.
more about that in the extended entry.
the titles for my new animation episode one have been put together, but i missed todays dealine for getting the whole thing finished, so the dvd will be delayed a few days
, and also one of my stick insects died today, ....... read on...........

........there's a new clip of "whatfore from me mum" in my tv show, plus some choir stuff, and a song about somthing being really fantstic !!!!! and some eukalele bits and some menu music called "5/4 eggy", which will go on the dvd menu, which is what i'm sorting the photos out for, as there is a photo gallery extra on the menu.
someone told me stick insects only live for a year ??????? but i did spot a new baby one in there the other day, so i've still got 14.
the titles look ace on the telly show, there is even the mosaic inthere ,...and it's animated. !
remember you can see this for the first time ever at the tate gallery on the 2nd june,....blimey ! that's next week, so come along on friday night to millbank, it's free. i'm also trying to sort out some display stands so you can see some of the sets and puppets and stuff that went into the making of it .
the knitting lady up the road got a printing press today, she does art stuff too, which reminds me i need to get going with my felt tips....

hello fans
nearly there with my telly show......just my paul macca blue sgt. pepper suit to go, and of cousre some artwork for the dvd box..so it's felt tip pens out tonight.........read on

i've got an ace concert coming up at a piano bar in the lake district, and also the floral hall in southport which is where paul played with the beatles, so i hope i get the smae dressing room.
i plan to go on bbc radio lancashire again soon with mr robins who is also paul maccas cousin...............
so you see i have loads of beatle conections.
one place the beatles never played was at walton park in sale, which is along the canal bank between timperley and brooklands tram stations, i'll put a map on this week.

i went to see some t-shirt people today, they are going to do a special one with printing on both sides, it will be in full colour too,.... more about that in a mo.....
meanwhile i did three more shots today for my animation show ... and i've got some more concerts booked in today .......read on.....

mr round (my agent) has got me an ace theatre concert in huddersfield,,,,,,,next march..... and i've got a night in worksop in september.and a fantastic one in wigan on the 7th july (full details to follow of all concerts).
today while filming myself, i got my head stuck in one of them space helmets, .....i felt like a goldfish, then when i got it off, i was like a fish out of water....only joking.
i think the divinchi code nicked the idea from the patterns around all my artwork from my t-shirts, cassette and medium play record,.....no-one ever broke that, you'll have to wait for my secret spy lp.
anyway .the t-shirt is going to be of a new mosaic that has been done of me, and it will be unveiled to the world at the tate gallery on the 2nd of june at 6.30 sharp, after the world pemier screening of my animation thing at 6.20. i'm also doing a guided tour of the tate and singing some songs, and doing a lecture with some slides......they have got a bar there,....and it's free to get in, so make a date to come and see me late at the tate 6pm till 9.30. millbank, london

hello fantastic fans,......
i'm sort of more or less ready for tonights show at dr. livvy's, .....
but i've still got some more filming to do first....... read on........

......yes i've been filming the title shots yesterday for my animation tv show, and i've a bit more to do then i can pack up for my concert,..... and i'm taking a puppet with me tonight,......and i don't mean little frank !

i did a couple of interviews yesterday, one with radio levenshulme, and one for gmr bbc manchester, which they have put on their web site.

i got a message off frank bruno the boxer the other day on myspace, he may be coming to the tate ???
but i'm not scared of him.......... only bill and baz........and only sometimes....only joking.

i went to see a company yesterday too, about getting a dvd done of the animation show, with a documentary on it, and a photo gallery, as extras, just like the ones you buy in the shops.....

tommorrow i'm going to see some shops, just like the ones that sell them dvds with extras like photo galleries and documentaries on them......

more about that at the weekend

i've been spinning a special fx banjo i made today and filming it........ it's for part of my new animated tv show i'm working on......

also saturday was great at bamber's art space........ read on,.......

yes, saturday was not just great .......
it was really fantastic !!!,....... i went in the window of bambers art space in manchester, and painted not one, ..but three ace paintings. first i did a self prortrait (of me ) , with a propper artist easle and pallet that you put on your thumb to mix the paint on.......
then.. to show how great i am..... i got two canvas's,......two brushes,..and two of them pallet things on one thumb and painted two pictures at once........ one was of a fish man from the planet x-zero-4, and the other one was of a kilvertian (one of that naughty alien race).
pop in and say hello to mr kennedy as all three pictures are still there at 42 oldhem street if you want to see them, but don't tell me mum as she thought i was shopping on saturday afternoon.

tommorrow i will be filming billy and barry belly surfing, also for my new tv show, and then i'm going to write all the titles by hand, with my felt tip pens.......

....i just need to find a space helmet to fit me.....

tes it was a fantastic night in bradford, and the crowd really warmed to my moulenex iron puppet,
little frank was bobbins as usual, but still seemed to steal the show..what's up with you lot ? ? ?

sunday and monday i have been filming for my 3d puppet thingy tv show, surface agents X-1-1, and
X-1-zero-5-3-8 ahve been doing the billy and barry belly scenes, while i've done an ace bit of the boat
at sunset....... and i'm doing bill and baz surfing today.

mr barnet said my interview should be in the manchester evening news this friday .....read on....

well it was a fantastic afternoon at the chelsea art space with me and the dalek reading sam beckett, and there are more fantastic concerts and special shows planned, including "late at the tate".........

hot pot supper, and little frank will be doing his bobbins bingo. slides and music and chat from me.

* saturday 6th may, the rock'n'heifer, bradford (i've given my ticket for moz to the knitting lady)

* saturday 13th may, special shop opening, 12 noon, bamber's space,42 oldham street, manchester

* thursday 18th may, dr, livvy's off market street in manchester.

* saturday 27th may, 3pm afternoon open air show for sale and timperley canal boat society, canal side,
walton park, sale, cheshire........it's free, bring the family and play in the park after.
