hello fantastic fans........

and the big news this week is that timperley tours is go......i have got myself one of them ace, fantastic and open top bus's and will be doing couch tours in and around some of my future concert dates...... more about that in the extended entry.......

so it's
thursday 29th june at - the coachouse, st. george street, chorley, and i'll be doing a fantastic pub quiz
with loads of prizes from my shed and a song or two and maybe slides. i'll start about 9pm right through till 11, with a break for puppets in the middle. (the pub is only small, so get there 8'30 ish if you want to be in the quiz)
friday 30th june i'm up in the lake district at norman's piano bar,market cross in ambleside, cumbria, and they've got a grand piano for me to play so i'll brush up on my sigor ross. ( 8pm till 10)
but don't forget a big full fantastic show with slides, music, puppets and some slight of hand magic and much, much more is in store for friday 7th june at goose green labour club, little lane (no relation), goose green, wigan.....doors at 7.30........on stage at 8.30 ish.

also i hope to be on bbc radio lancashire again next week with mr robins (i'll let you know when i know)
....... and put a note in your diary for the 30th july as that is when my "magical timperley tour" bus will make it's maiden voyage, with me as your tour guide......more to follow soon.

hello brilliant fans...............
well what a fantastic day in london,......i came ,...... i saw,..... and i scored a hat-trick,... ! ! !
and wern't you home fans abbsolutley ace. !!!!!
yes it was a top day out in london for me yesterday, with two fantastic broadcast interviews and to complete my hat-trick a wonderfull concert, and that was after being one nil down due to london traffic....... but when i did get to l.b.c. i had a wonderful time with mr. lee on the radio taking listeners calls and singing songs live with iain, and he has invited me back on his show next time i'm down.
it was then over to kentish town where i did a 25 minute podcast radio interview with seven year old joel ronson for a new childrens internet broadcast station, so with me now 2 - 1 up it was onto the 2nd half of the day's entertainment with the ace, fantastic and top concert at the bull and gate..........read on ....

yes.....you london fans gave me a marvalous reception for what turned out to be a night of showbiz magic, .!!! after all watching the england game and some of my 8mm home movies in the pub bit. we all went in the back concert room where you all got to see the final edited version of my "frank's world" animated telly show followed by fantastic sets from all the great support s - adrian teenbeat, fractured and i-ludicrous, .
then i came on and we sang our hearts out to classics from queen, the beatles,artic monkeys, morrissey and elvis and you soon all picked up on songs from my new album like "pannini stickers"; "georgie best boutique" and "www.franksworld.co.uk" and old classics like "guess who's been on match of the day"; "zoo scrap book" and "the robin's arn't bobbins" and a wonderfully high spirited slection of football chants from "nil - nil" to " there's only one referee" and i spotted iain lee in amoungst the home fans leading the proceedings in fine voice. the only black spot of the evening was a late home goal scored by little frank who nearly ruined the night by turning up dressed as "little rooney", very funny
, i think not....... otherwise,. a great day. you know it was. it really was...... thank you london.
....... oh yes ......and england won aswell......see you at the festival in wigan on sunday.

also don't forget that it's my ace show at the bull and gate tonight (thursday 15th) with little frank and his girlfriend little denise, doing a brill footie thing, including the world premiere showing of the final edited version of my animated telly show, plus i've some super 8 home movies of me trying to teach little frank how to play football down at the moss lane football ground, and my fantastic home movie of me winning 2 - 0 against a real helecopter as pre-match entertainment,.....so come along if you want to see them.....

hello fantastic fans........

you may see me around the bolton area this wednesday doing various photos for the bolton evening news for some publicity for my concert there at the end of august.

i'm also live on red rose in the afternoon, and live on lbc in london on thursday.

i've also been offered a fantastic radio advert, more about that soon........read on .........

don't forget i'm at the bull and gate, in kentish town on thursday night, and oh blimey big band keyboard player jon ronson may be joining me on stage (he's on the frank's world mosaic).

on sunday afternoon i've been invited to come and see a fantastic festival in wigan and introduce some of the bands, i may bring my keyboard too and do a song......details on that later in the week.

the animated telly show has now been edited, and is going to the dvd people so that will be out in july, i've just got to finish the documentry bit for the dvd extra to go with the photo gallery...... and it's half day closing in timperley on a wednesday, so i'll have to get the shopping in by one......

this week is quite busy in show bizness, as i've got to get the final version of my "frank's world" animation ready to go onto dvd, which should be out in early july.
then i've got to put all the songs in order for my new lp........... (maybe "jambo" first")
i'm doing some photos and interview for the bolton evening news, and on thursday i'm live on l.b.c. radio between 3 and 4 pm, when you can phone in. i'm on at the bull and gate in london on the thursday night,
and i'm talking with someone about a feature film (only talking ..don't get too excited.......yet !)
and if you're in manchester tonight, then the mint lounge are showing my animation along with loads of other films. £2 in on oldham street. ............thank you

hello ace, fantastic and top fans
the world cup is up and running with two ace goals for wanchop, and the germans third was a belter...
but i'm not going to clog up my web site with footie stuff...so for the duration of the world cup.... you can get my daily tips/views/and 2 new pence worth by going on a propper soccer site ......
www.4thegame.com and look on ....... the bill burrows blog where he has kindly given me my own world cup space............ so that's it on football.......
except to remind you i'm doing the football world cup night at the bull and gate in kentish town this thursday the 15th, and i'll be bringing a five man wall with me........ right that's it on football..

..... except to say that there will be a special pressing of a football cd available only at concerts while the world cup is on............right thats it....... honest. !!!

other showbiz news is that mr lake my greengrocer has said he'll come along to the unvailing of the mosaic in manchester on the 6th july (timperley independance day) and maybe some more chums too (but i hope not bill and baz).

and finaly....... on a football note......
i hope to be showing my super 8mm home movies of "training a puppet to play football" at my next few concerts while the world cup is on, and a collection of my apperances on 'match of the day'.
don't get too much footie fever....

hello fantastic fans........
there is to be an unvailing of the mosaic in manchester next month,...plus the premiere of the final version of my telly show......... more about that in a moment.
there will also be an exhibition of the sets, used in the making of my fantastic animation telly show, along with props and the puppets (yes, even the puppet of the puppet little frank..... if that makes any sense !).
don't forget my next london concert is next week on thursday at the bull and gate in kentish town, and there will be a big screen in (for the footie at five) and for a showing of my telly show later, there are also ace bands on too with me top of the bill, and i'll be doing a footie quiz with some ace prizes from my house................ read on.........

there is to be an unvailing of the mosaic at noon on thursday the 6th july at afflecks palace in manchester, with me and a few of my chums from the mosic itself..... plus there will be an exhibition of all the stuff from my telly show and various screenings of my animated telly show too...
full details to follow nearer the time.
......but if you want to be the first to see "frank's world" then it is on at this sundays "filmonik" at the mint lounge, on oldham street in the northern 1/4, it's £2 to get in and there are loads of other fantastic films made by local filmakers (which i am one of) too......

hello wonderful fans..and a fantastic day to you all.....
this morning i'll be working in my shed doing some recording.......more about that in the extended entry.
there are now at least 6 new stick incects in my tank, .....brilliant eh !
we are trying to set a date for the ace mosaic of me to go up on afflecks palace wall, it should be sometime in july, and i'm hoping mrs. merton will come along and help me unvail it as she's got a very big bedspread and there's no way i could nick my mums for the day without her noticing !!!!!!!!!!
russ has got a few tate gallery t-shirts left on his www.franksidebottom.co.uk site and he's managed tp track down a copy of the original "frank's firm favorites" cassette which there were only 250 of and we will be doing a special cd of it with some bonus material.............. read on.........

so i'm in my shed this morning,........ finishing off my new album,......which is more or less done now, it just needs sticking into order.....do you think i should start it with my swahilli song ? ? ? or the franksworld song ? ? ? and should it be called franksworld or should it be a date like 25:8:6 ?????
i'm also recording some ringtones and answer machine messages which i will be putting on my web site which you my ace fans will be able to download free, more about that later in the week.
i've also got 40 "things to say" to record for the mosaic, as there will be a button on the wall under it and when you press it you will hear me talk (brilliant hey !}
......and when i've recorded all that......i'm going to record a radio advert, as i've been asked to do one, and they have sent me a script, but i've said i'll do my own.....so i'm going to have a mess doing that and send it them and see what they think....(i'll keep you posted as it could become a telly advert too).
...........and if i get all that done today, i'll finish editing my animated tv show for a showing at this sundays filmonik in manchester, oh and by the way .i'm playing at the lowery on salford quays on 7th september so that should be a good one.......
