hello ace fans, ...frank sidebottom here just to say a big "thank you" to all of you who have downloaded my new single "free download", and if it was selling that many, i'd be on top of the pops this week, but that's finished anyway so i can't. but just to complete your free "free download" download, you can download for free a free "free download" "free download" artwork, for your free "free download" download, to make up an free "free download" sleeve to go with your free "free download" music download so it looks like a proper cd like you would buy in the shops, and would put me on t.o.t.p,.... except this one costs absolutely nothing, and t.o.t.p. is no more. enough about free stuff.......
a tenner will get you into any one of my next four concerts, at either blackburn north bar, thornton little theatre, worksop regal, or the lowry salford,.....you know it will,.... it really will.

hey,.. guess what i got through the post this week,...... (yes that's right ! .....if you have e.s.p),
a fantastic one minute trailer on dvd for "the magical timperley tour", the ace film that steve sullivan shot on the open top bus tour in did a month ago, and i've just managed to squeeze it on as a final dvd extra to the "frank's world" animated dvd due out on the 15th september.
also i've been to see cherry red records last week and all is set for a new album soon, plus "e,f,g & h" maybe in the new year, there is also a linj to them on the "music downloads" section of the showbiz bit.
finaly don't forget if you live in the greater m/cr area to tune into channel m on friday for the "4 manchester" show which i will be on, singing live. ( it is reoeated on sturday and sunday too at various times) and if they like me i might be doing more ( i must take little frank....everyone likes him).
well keep free downloading, and give to your mates,....they make brill pressies, and they cost absolutlely nothng ( did i mention that ?????)

just as i get my first single out since my last new single out ('panic' 14 years ago) the bbc go and stop top of the pops before i've had a chance to go on it,.....how thoughtless of them, but no matter as i will be doing my own new t.o.t.t.p. on telly sooner than you think and i'm bound to be number one on that (read extended entry for details.)so my new single is out, and it's a free download,costing absolutley nothing, yes that's right, it's free. not 79p, and it's not in the shops, or on an cd or anything, it's just a free download, costing absolutley nothing. all you do is go on 'showbiz' and click on 'music downloads' and it's there. i recorded it yesterday and put it straight on as a gift to you 'my fantastic fans' from me, and the best thing is....... it's absolutley free. it went on at lunch time and sold 8 people bought (?) it in the first 55 minutes and it's not even been on the radio or anything, and i sang it last night at st.helens for the first time with my new 'electro vision" puppet as a special "thank you" to all who came along, you're ace, fantastic and top ! so get downloading now and make it number one on t.o.t.t.p.............

"top of the timperley pops", is on it's way to you, bringing you all the best tunes from around the world and beyond as a new weekly tv show, and it will be presented by that fantatastic disc jockey..... me!. and if you live in the greater manchester area, or have sky guide 203, or ntl 26, or free to air on channel 39, you can get a sneak preview of what it will be like when i present "4 manchester" for a hour on their channel m. i'll be bringing you loads of ace music live in the studio and on video (vhs and betamax) plus i'll be singing my new single which came out yesterday, it's a free download - costing absolutley nothing. i'll also be singing it at my next concert at the albert halls in bolton on sunday 27th august, and if you tune into the ted robbins show on bbc radio lancashire, on wednesday the 23rd august i'm his guest at about 10.30 am, and i'll see if he'll give it it's first spin on the airwaves ( i must get my radio timperley back on the air ).

hello fantastic fans,.......... frank here
just letting you know that next weeks chorley gig at the victory park social club has been cancelled (again...! that's the 3rd time this year). also my concert at the lowry has nearly sold out, there's only 8 seats left in the stalls, but read on for special number for circle seats .
so anyway i was asked by granada tv did i want to go on "i'm a celebrity holiday rep" for 10 days filming in corfu where it was over a hundred degrees and i said "yes". anyway .....health and safety said they couldn't get insurance for me to go on in that heat wearing my gimmic 24 hours a day........... and i'm not taking my PINK TIE off for anyone. but if i'm ever asked for celebrity big brother i'll just send in little frank and i'll do his voice from behind the mirror, that way i can still watch thunderbirds and top cat every morning,... and little frank would easy win anyway as everyone seems to like him (it's beyond me !!!)

so with only 8 seats left in the stalls for my lowry show on 15th september in salford, i got my agent mr round to see why you can't book seats for the circle on the internet (coz people had been trying in vain)
so he checked with the lowry, and they have givern us two special numbers to do phone bookings on..

also the 15th is the day that the "frank's world" dvd comes out so it will be on sale at the lowry that night for the first time, and there are tons of extras on it of all sorts.

well what a fantastic night that was in southport (apart from little frank's bobbins lecture).......
yes,.. it was top notch show biz entertainment,. and you were a brilliant audience too.
what a great place the floral hall is aswell, and i got to change in the same dressing room as used by the beatles (before paul left to form wings), and they've still got the same mirrors that ringo and the rest used....fab, gear and un-grotty.,.. and i think that's the first time i've ever sung "happiness is a warm gun.
so my next show coming up is st. helens (see 'concerts' for details) so the next two weeks will be getting together my september releases.... which are.......
my "frank's world" animated episode on dvd,.......
and my new album,...... which might have a few suprises on it............ read on..........
and thank you again for coming to all my shows in the last few weeks........... 'thank you"

.......right ..up to now there is the episode 1 "mr gallagher's boat" on the dvd, plus a 35 minute photo gallery which i have put together myself, then there is a short film of the mosaic being made by mr kennedy (with a bit of help from me glue mixing) which is also animated, and there is a behind the scenes documentry at the secret reema-leema base on the making of "frank's world" and there is an interview with me, plus some trailers, plus the altenative titles from the begining and end, and a bit of me live at the tate britain, and somthing else i can't remember !!!! so that's the dvd.
........ on the album front, there's new songs like....."sea monkeys on mars"; "jambo - si jambo salamu" (which is sung in swahili); "did you know my cousin martin worked at the georgie best boutique ?"; "www.franksworld.co.uk" (which you'll notice is the name of this web site); "somthing or other is really fantastic" (i can't remember what it was now that was so fantastic !); "onto toronto pronto tonto" (otherwise know as "the star wars song - a lesson in copyright") and there is a who;e section under the banner of........."frank sidebottom salutes the magic of jeff lynne and the electric light orchestra"......
plus loads more ,,,,,, and there is talk of a follow up to "a b c & d" which is "e f g and h" ans there is a "sci-fi revisited 2006" release on it's way too..... keep tune in for all details,,,,,, or ask cherry red,,,,, and there will be a link to them soon on this site, you know there will,. there really will, thank you, frank sidebottom.

yes fantastic fans,... little frank is all fired up to do his southport lecture (for one night only) and good thing too , as he's driving me nuts with his wittering facts about the seaside town, ......... don't get you hopes up too much because i think it's bobbins, but then i think everything l.f. does is bobbins......
but you lot seem to like him,... so i'll let him have a go.
thank you by the way to all who came to see me in royton last night, it was ace....... just like live aid,... but totally different,....... but my moulineux iron puppet put l.f. in his place for once, and there were some fab prizes won by the audience.
i'll bring some more prizes from my shed for tonights southport floral hall show (did you know that the potato was first planted in the uk at southport ?????,....... or so little frank sais!!!) i'll shut up..see you tonight , you know i will, i really will,..... thank you.......... frank sidebottom

hello fantastic fans.......... frank sidebottom here......
and as we move into the 8th month of the year, the release of my new dvd, and my new lp (cd) grow nearer, and with my concert diary filling up, and some new art exhibitions on the way to prepare for, me mum goes and sais that i've got to creosote the shed while the weathers fine.......blimey !
but as luck would have it,. it's raining here in timperley today, so i'm going to take some of the 2d cardboard cut-outs i used in making my "frank's world" animation, and add them to the display in bambers art space on oldham street, near the mosaic (that is now up}.
have you seen it yet ? what do you think ? where can you see it if you can't get into manchester ? read on to find out, and don't forget i'm playing in royton on thursday, and a trip to the southport seaside on friday, withfor one night only..... little frank's southport lecture...... thank you

when the mosaic went up on the wall on afflecks palace last week. it was filmed as a news item for two telly stations, and they keep it on their archive ( i don't know how long for ), but you can see their news reports on either......

both of them show clips of my new animated thingy, and the 'letsgoglobal' is presented by me for the full half hour show,with little frank interviewing a pop star called scrubber fox ! and me singing three songs.
also if you go on 'myspace' and type in my name, a few of you fantastic fans have put some of your photos from the day on too.

right then,....... i'll go and find some 2d cardboard now and get onto the tram, and maybe write one last new song for my album while i'm on it,..... maybe about ,....erm,........ trams ????

you'll have to wait and see,....... you know you will,......you really will !
