yes,...... it was....... you know it was,........... it really was........... what a brilliant day.
hello fantasti sfans frank sidebottom here,...... jusy to say that the three "magical timperley tours" were ace, fantastic and top, and you'll be reading all about tjem in various press over the coming weeks.
one of the high lights for me is that we managed to get a "lock in" for me and the whole 3 coach trips !!!
... and not on the pub..!!!!!!!!!
no.. we got a "lock in" at the pet shop !!!!
yes you heard me right.... "timperley aquatics" gave us a lock in, and got out all the animals for us.
it was so fantastic..... except when the snake climbed in my pocket which had a hole in, and before we could get it had made it's way into the lining of my tour bus blaizer, the pet shop boss (brian) had to cut the bottom of my blaiser to get it out..... me mum's going to go mad.........read on.........

we had all the parrots out aswell, one ( called archie)flew the lenght of the shop and knocked me on the head as he went by, and one bit me ... but not hard,,,, it just did a funny thing with it's tong.
then them lizzards were funny too, and there was some called dragons, and they looked just like a real dragon except smaller.
the rabbits were dead fluffy, and so was a hampster which was awake , dispite the clocks going back.
and the new fish tanks were full of fish out of this world, some new colours i've never seen before (even in a 100 different felt tip pen range) ......plus loads more, and that's just the pet shop..just one stop on the whole tour. more press and maybe some fan reviews will go on my myspace.
anyway ..it's liverpool on tuesday night.... full details will follow.
thank you also to all who came on the coach trips and also to the concert in the evening at timperley labour club, and exspect some of the signed raffle prizes to appear on ebay over the coming weeks. (at least i'm making sombody rich).
details of forthcoming evenys will also appear over the next few days and details about the progress of my robot, album, and pant-o-rama.

hello fantastic fans,....... frank sidebottom here,
and a very special 'thank you' to all who came to see me in warrington at the parr last night,..it was ace, and so were you....'three shirts on me line' was brill.

so i'm off to wigan tonight for a special halloween party concert thingy, with the jailcell's ( see poster in my coments) and i'll be getting up with them to sing a few songs including the first public performance of "space is ace again!" which we plan to put out on a vinyl 7 inch record only soon.

then tommorrow it's my home village for the "magical timperley tour" plus concert at night......

yes it's a big day in timperley, with three bus trips doing a tour of my home village with me as the tour guide....... and it's a different route this time ......and i've got a very, very special finish for everyone who comes on it,.....you'll think it was all a dream,... but it'll really happen.......only this once. !!!

the bus leaves timperley metrolink station at miday..... 1.30 pm..... and the last bus tour is at 3pm.....
if you're late you miss it. the last one is more or less sold out so hurry as last time people turned up and could't get on, so book with mr alston ( the bus conductor ) on 0161 652 1217 first to be safe.
(there is a fancy london magazine coming on the mid-day tour to take some photos if you want to get your mush in it). the night time concert is at timperley labour club/ the grange sports and social club, on the grange estate, on grange road, off park road (which is where the tram station is). doors are 7.30pm with me on stage at 8pm and them 9.15 for a second set, (0161 652 1217 for ticket details)
the only bad news is that my 'timperley bigshorts' football team are away in the cup, or the first tour would've caught the last ten minutes of the game, which would've been great for team and fans.

and i shall be doing a full 90 minutes of show-biz, with some slides and puppet pals. the doors open at 7.30pm and i'm onstage at 8. the box office number is 01925 442345 and it only holds 168 so be quick

.....i'm in wigan on saturday night for a special halloween party show, it's not my concert, but i will be getting up to sing,.....more dteails later in the week.

so onto the timperley sunday..... (29th oct)
so, there are three bus trips going from the metrolink tram station @ 12 mid-day, @ 1.30 pm the the last bus goes @ 3 pm........ this time we are using a luxury coach, so we can go down some of the bits of timperley that we couldn't show you last time (plus it'll be nice and warm). there will be a dvd film showing on the bus too aswell as the free map and of course i will be your guide on and off the bus.
billy is opening the "timperley fish bar' specially for us so if you want to finish the tour with some timperley chips !....... or there's the stonies or the quarry bank. details 0161 652 1217 for tickets.

then on sunday night, i'm live on stage at the grange sports and social club ( aka timperley labour club) doors are 7.30 pm and i'll be doing a full 90 minute show with a fantastic quiz and some ace prizes. details for this are also from mr. alston on 0161652 1217.

u.s. news for april 2007, the hour on cable tv in new york is looking good, plus the album signing and mini concert in virgin records is on, plus a show at a venue and a return show there later in the week when i go back to 'do' the rest of america ( i've got to come home to shop for me mum inbetween) but the good news is it will all be captured for a telly documentry.

hello fantastic fans ........
and thank you to all who came to see me at the dancehouse theatre in manchester on sunday night ,..
what a show that was,..... and the winner of the raffle went home with little frank's 'little mark e. smith'
body which l.f. had worn for his bobbins version of 'hit the north'.
there were plenty of other manchester 'hits' sung during the night too and also a special dedicated version of 'oh blimey it's christmas' for ross noble who came to see my show. ( i read in an interview that it was the first record he ever bought ).
so this week we've the timpeley tou to look forward to on sunday, aswell as concerts in warrington and timperley, and show biz mc-ing in wigan and liverpool for halloween. full details to follow tomorrow.

yes i'm on silk fm 106.9 which is the north cheshire station that broadcasts from macclesfield. (so it is actually my local timperley station.........not including radio timperley .......my station).
i'm on with a disc jockey called and clewes between 11 am and 12 noon, and i'll be playing some songs live in the studio.
details of how you can get 'radio timperley' from this web site will be announced soon.

hello fantastic fans,..... and thanks to everyone who came to see me iat the grans theatre in lancaster,..
what a top show that was, and you were all ace, and well done david the teacher who won the spacial dvd.
but the best thing about the night was ......on the way home , we were stopped on the m6 by the police and due to my driver having the incorrect documents that go with the proffession, the car was empounded, and i had to get a taxi back from juncyion 31 on the motorway with what i could carry.
so with my borroewd keyboards and stand and projector and stage clothes and t-shirts and cds and dvds and bits and peices, it returned back to timperley in my sparkle jacket and had to leave little frank in the boot with the police....that'll teach him to ruin my concert.
but don't worry, i'm picking him up today for my show at the dancehouse.....see you there.

hey..... wasn't the new roscoe show ace...... what a great sing-a-long night, ....and little frank's head split down one side !!!!! brilliant. thank you to all who came - and don't worry ....i've got the flour and water and newspaper out and he'll be readu for my weekend shows....... which are......
saturday night (21st oct) at the grand theatre on st. leonards gate in lancaster ( 01524 64695 ).
then sunday night (22nd) ant the dancehouse on oxford road ( opposite the bbc) in manchester.
so my propper tlly set has started to go up in urbis. me and dave put the first 4 pannels in and wery ace they look too. if you go in the urbis shop or cafe and walk round to the channel m studio bit you can see it, all their sets are blue and silver and grey and glass ..... mine is orange, brown and yellow.... you can't miss it. keep your eyes on it over the coming weeks as i add the hawiyan area and the fantastic dungeon.......... best regards frank sidebottom....... and ta if you bought my new "frank's world" dvd.

hello fantastic fans ........frank sidebottom here......
with a few details for my leeds and lancaster shows.........(in a mo.)
but first let me say a hige "thank you " to all who came to see me at the koffee pot on saturday for the launch of my "frank's world" dvd. it was ace to meet you all and have a chat, and do autographs ( that's showbiz for 'writing your name') and loads of photo's too on them new mobile phone cameras, it was brilliant. that you also to those who bought the dvd and lft me coments on myspace, it's great to know you like it,..and more will be on the way.
also i did my first big trip down to the g.p.o. today and got the first batch of mail order copies off with first class stamps, so they should start arriving from tommorrow onwards,.........
so read on for a report on 'robottom' ( my robot ) and the latest concert news...........

so this wednesday (18th oct) i'm at the new roscoe in leeds, tickets and details are on 0113 246 0778 .
then on saturday (21st) i'm at the grand theatre on st. leonards gate in lancaster and you can get tickets for that on 01524 64695, and on sunday (22nd) i'm in manchester at the dancehouse on oxford road, (details to follow)...... and next week it's over to warrington.
there is a full list of dates up till christmas on my myspace, which you can log onto by clicking on 'showbiz' and then clicking onto 'concerts'....... you can also see the comments from people who have seen the dvd,....( and leave your own !!!)
..but the bad news is that i have had to put 'robottom' on hold this week as i've been trying to fix my keyboard, ......and in vain,.. but i've borrowed one off phil the puppet man as he has the same model as me, until i can pluck up courage to ask me mum if i can get a new one out of her catalog.
also you can now get my dvd from ebay..... but i think it costs 1p more ?????

and yes, at last my dvd is released....... you can finally get your mits on my "frank's world" animated adventure. it came out on reema-leema at 11:37 am this morning, and within four minutes had sold 3 copies,.... by mid-day it had sold 8, and went up to 17 by 1 o'clock. ( i've not looked since but i could be number one on t.o.t.p ....only joking....it's stopped now !)...... so a big thanks to all who odrered it up to now. or you may be waiting to come and buy one off me at the koffee pot on saturday afternoon at 4pm, when i have my dvd launch party, with free tea and broken buiscits and free pop and crisps and cheese things on sticks.,... and then i can autograph it in person for you........
or maybe you're waiting to get it at my next concerts, which are new roscoe in leeds on wednesday, or the grand theatre in lancaster on saturday 21st............. or read on........

........so if you want to get it mail order, you can get it from 'shop man' on this site ( which is really just russ pretending to be a shop man) and don't worry if you can't get to see me to get it signed as the first 1,137 copies have a signed card in anyway (signed by me..... not russ) and i'll be putting bits of things in each box anyway. (i'm rooting in my shed, cellar and attic).
but it will be getting through to your hmv's, virgins and the odd greengrocer on the corner over the next few weeks and months.......... i'll keep you posted,.
the running time of the dvd is over 90 minutes, and contains
*** mr gallagher's boat *** .....the animated adventure.
*** the making of "frank's world"*** behind the scenes and interview with me
*** around the making of " *** which shows some of the things i was up to while making it.
of which my favorite bit is stuff at the tate brittain, and me and a dalek singing "imagine" in the chelsea art space next to the tate. and there is also a trailer for a "magical timperley tour" film, of which i'm doing "magical timperley tour 2" later this month. let me know what you think of my dvd.......

hello fantastic fans,.....frank sidebottom here saying "thank you" to all who came to see me in bury on the last leg of the first half of my comback uk tour of adlington and surrounding areas.
i've got 10 days off now before my next concert in leeds at the new roscoe (18th oct), but i wont be resting............oh no.
i've got my album to finish off, some music and titles to do for the 'magical timperley tour' film, i've got a robot that needs polishing off, i've got sets and props to make for my forthcoming pant-o-rama, i've got my new proper telly show to get sorted with channel m, i've got to film some stuff for a show about me and mrs merton for bbc 2, there's the next 13 episodes of my animated tv series to get done, and a huge back-log of shopping for me mum.......... (plus some episodes of top cat that i taped off the telly to watch)
plus there's loads more happening in the next ten days too !!! .......read on for details.....

.....the next "magical timperley tour" has now been set up , and it's on sunday the 29th october. there will be 3 trips, starting at mid-day; 1.30 pm then at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. it will be a different route this time and will take in some other interesting places and a suprise end. tickets cost £ 9.99p and you can order them from the bus conductor - mr alston on 0161 652 1217.
there will also be a show that night in timperley at timperley labour club ( a.k.a.the grange sports and social club) and tickets for that are also £ 9.99p (doors at 7.30pm)
both the above sold out completely last time , so book early to avoid dissapointment.
then also the "frank's world" dvd finaly comes out on wednesday the 11th october, with over 90 mins of extras on it,.....including me and a dalek singing in london, and a "m.t.t." trailer. i'll put the details of how you can buy it on my site on monday when i've spoken to reema-leema.
the bigshort f.c. are at home this week and are still looking for their first win of the season, we are bottom with only 1 point from four games, but good news is their will be "timperley bigshorts f.c." shorts and shirts available to buy soon, so you can play at being in them in your own back garden, ( they should be out for xmas with some new mugs)........ there's loads more i've got to do, but i'll tell you about that in a couple of days, you know i will,. i really will. best regards . frank sidebottom

hello fantastic fans, frank sidebottom here....... and a special thank you to all who came to see me in workington and ashton-u-lyne...... you were brilliant. (this weeks concert news to folllow),,, but first....
the bad news this week is that little frank's group - "the deamon axxe warriors of/from oblivion" have re-formed,...... and it's all my fault !!!
you see, i was finishing off my new album and there were a few grooves left on the cd, and he had been pestering me to let him have a song on it, and as i had shopping for me mum to do, i let him fill up the last bit....... little did i know he re-form his stupid heavy metal band and as a result .....what i thought would be just a quick album filler has become a monumental epic album ending, and it's spoilt it for me.
it's absolutley bobbins, but you can always skip the last track..... anyway enough of that......
