as xmas gets near,...... you may be looking for some stocking fillers,...... read on

well brighton was absolutley brilliant, and so was the art centre in hackney, i'll be playing both of them again, and a big 'thank you' to all who came to see me,... you were ace.
i also did a couple of radio things when i was down there which go out round christmas,
i'll keep you informed on those.

this weekend see's me very very busy again, with the manchester busker show at the castle pub on oldham street, doors are 7pm and i'm on first,.... as i've got to bomb across town to urbis for the "saturday social" for channel m. it starts at 9pm and goes on into the small hours as we record a 2 hour show with live bands for broadcast the following saturday i think !!!!! anyway you can get tickets from urbis for this event if you want to come along.
then on sunday i'm doing 2 shows of my xmas puppet pant-0-rama at timperley labour club (now thw grange sports and social club) ,.... first show is 2pm and the night show at 7.30pm...... tickets are £7.83p each from mr alston ( see my shows list).

there's a couple of dvd's out this christmas which have a clip of me on......
first there's peter kayes best of - which has the 500 miles children in need video on it ( which i'm on for about 3 seconds) ,..... but also out is a new"podge and rodge" dvd which has my performance of my 'smith's' medley including 'panic'.,.... but it's worth getting that just for podge and rodge ,.... as they are top.

i'm doing loads of telly over xmas too,..... and more radio,...... i'll keep you informed as i find out.......

p.s. ace pop combo "the beautiful south" have been starting every date on their american tour by marching onstage to my "mr custard" !!!!!! is that cool or what !

p.p.s. my new series of "proper telly show in b/w" starts in the new year.

animation deal signed sealed and not yet delivered...(but we've started and we've got 10 months)

hello fantastic fans,.......

the great news this week in,..... i've been down in london with a reema-leema man and we've got a deal to make six - half hour episodes of my ace animation "frank's world" episodes for the telly ...... fantastic hey !!!
the bad news is 'little frank' will be in it too !!!!!!!
the deal has been done with 'baby cow' ,.... which is the company run by steve cougan and henry normal (they do "the mighy boosh" amoungst other things),... and the whole deal looks very very ace.
i've got over 30 scripts to choose the 6 from,.... which i'll let them do,... and they are both ace showbiz entertainers as i've done loads of shows with both of them in the past, so i know.
it'll go into production in january and all six episodes will be finished for transmission on the telly in september ,....... i'll keep you posted.....

on the concert front,....

don't forget i'm doing a charity one with johnny vagas this friday,..... the prince albert in brighton on saturday and the chatsworth palace arts centre in hackney on sunday with another appearance on 'max's magic circle' radio show squeezed in too..... and don't forget my timperley "pant-0-rama" is coming up too on 2nd dec ,.... i can't tell you what it is yet ,.... but little frank is playing 'buttons' and it will be a big puppet exstaviganza !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and tickets are selling fast. (see 'shows' list for details).
and also i've been booked for next years 'manchester vs cancer' concert which my mate andy rourke runs....... that's good ! ...... it's on 23rd of feb i think ????

bonfire night,......
Current mood: excited

hello fantastic fans,........

i am getting there with the new album (honest),..... and the new "franksworld" animation,..... and the new telly series ,...... and the rest

my agent (and arch enemy) mr round will be putting some new xmas shows in over the next few days,..... these will include trips to burnley,.. wilmslow,... and the midlands.

there is another live satuday social being recorded by channel m in urbis soon ,... i'll keep you posted on that.......

...... but i'm off to build a bonfire now in our back garden,..... but not too near the shed !
(allways follow the firework code),........ and i'll be keeping little frank indoors ,... as he's cardboard.
