hello fantastic fans,....


yes,... at last... it look's like surf's up in timperley,... with a special "sidie" skateboard to go with it !

but first,... i've had a ace and bobbins week all rolled into one.........

bobbins,..... as i had a cold from tuesday onwards,.... but unbobbins also because not before i spent a day in liverpool with thrash metal band "s.s.s." ,.... yes-sir-ree ... it was ace ....... dave drove me over there to there studio,... where they are just finishing their new album,.... and as part of it.... the vinyl edition will have a special 7" e.p. with it with me on ..... and it'll be a picture disc too,.... with me on too,.... and there'll be a dvd with me on the extras too ,.... fantastic hey ,.... "thrash,.... with a small moustache !"

i'll be doing a album launch in september at virgin in manchester with them too ,.... and it might just be a duo album launch !!!!!!!! ( i'll keep you posted)

i've just done a very very very long 3 and a half day inteview ,... where the reporter stayed with me for 3 and a half days ,.... which is going to go in a "nude magazine" ..... the 3 and a half days he was with me i did a radio ,... 2 telly shows, ...a day filming me pretending to be luke of "big brother",... 4 bus trips round timperley ,... the "tony wilson experience" and i even got him to play the drums for me in my "oh blimey big band" ,....
he took loads of photo's ,... so it'll be quite good ! (i'll let you know when it's out).


telly this weekend see me on "summer in the park" on channel m (sky 203 - virgin media 878) tonight at 10pm ,.... with repeats tomorrow (sunday) at 2am , 4pm, 10pm and 2am in the early hours of monday ,...... plus i'm doing the overnight testcard at 4am each morning too....

oh yes,.... and still 'luke' ,.. to win....

hello fantastic fans,....

i'm going to be doing some 'thrash metal' next week,... along with some 'surf punk' ..... keep logging on for full up-to-the-second reports.

meanwhile ,..here's the part two of me going round timperley with some councilors.......

are you all ready for my fantastic "un-royal variety show" this weekend at the bull and gate in kentish town ???? i hope so,... i've been spending all day ,..... well all afternoon,.. well ,.... a bit of time anyway.... getting fully ready for it,... and yes i'll be bringing t-shirts; 3d galsses; dvd's and pocket puzzles with me ,.... and we'll be doing a ace raffle to win a top prize,.... and some bobbins ones aswell.

hello fantastic fans,.....

sorry i've not blogged for a week but i have been hand rearing 4 little kittens,... while the mum has been having a operation as it got run over,...... any way .... all are fine .. ace!.

i have been doing a bit of showbiz aswell,... as all who met me at 'summer in the park' at platt fields over the weekend will know,...... and also the whole thing was filmed for channel m ,.... and will be on soon,.... details to follow.....

i hope you enjoyed me on iain lee's virgin radio show,.... and max's magic circles,.... and there is more radio to follow,... including vicky's ace cheshire fm show on 3rd august.... see myspace for full details.

also i'm back on the "city life social" this week again,.... 10pm thursday and friday on channel m (sky 203 or virgin media 878) with late night repeats thur/fri/and saturday.

also ,.... plans for the mosaic of me that was up in manchester on afflecks ,... looks like it could be heading for a resting place in timperley..... i've been talking to some local councillors about it ,.... and it could be on.... !!!!

hello fantastic fans,.....

well what a ace weekend i've had ,.... it was top ...!!!! (apart from the shopping for my mum ! ) ,... i was one of the 'float' judges along with the lord mayor and councillors for the altrincham festival parade. (that's good !) ,..... yes ther were 42 floats and some ace brass bands too,...and i was incharge of "most coulouful" and "most original".
....... 'hms seaside' and ' the wheatcheif' won.... in that order ,... and got the trpphies in timperley on the grange field which is where the parade ends up. ... (next year i'm in it).
wetdude took laods of photos (including 3d ones) ,.... so they will pop up this week.

i was on channel m's "city life social " this week ,...... with my mad cow ,.... and .....
............. i advise you to watch it .........

i'm on iain lee's virgin radio show on tuesdfay night at 10pm ,... and you can now listen to that on the telly too....... ace hey !
i'm also recoding a "max's magic circles" radio show this week ,... listening details will follow......

i'm on the " citi life social " on channel m this thursday at 10pm (sky 203) and doing the "overnight testcard" every night at 2.30am on channel m in the morning.

don'y forget that i'll be hiosting the main stage at "summer in the park" in manchester this coming weekend ,..... and tickets are now on sale for my london "unroyal variety peformance" at the bull and gate for tyhe 19th.

....... the house of commons will this week be discussing where the "frank sidebottom" mosaic from afflecks palace will be situated in timperley ..... more details to follow.

hello fantastic fans,.....

there's loads of things coming up during the month of july including a radio broadcast of "frank sidebottom's story of pop" ...... details to follow...

my mad cow puppet will be making a return this week,... when he does his first bit of telly ever.... (his last apperance was onstage in leeds in the '90's) ,..... but let me warn you in advance.............. he's mad !!!!!!!!! and i mean stark raving bonkers mad !!!!!!!

anyway...... since he got the mad cow desease,.... i've tried not to use him too much,... but as i am running out of material,.... i'm having to scrape the barrel a bit !!!! but if you tune into channel m's "city life social" (sky 203) at 10pm on thursday,... i'll try and do a faily semi-proffesional job. (there are at least 3 repeats of this show - see my 'shows' ).

right ..... here's me and my "oh blimey big band" doing "je'tame wild thing in timperley" and "space is ace" at the labour club last week.



don't forget i'm judge (with the lord mayor of altrincham) for this saturday's "altrincham festival ,... i'll be following the floats all the way to the playing feilds in timperley (nest the the labour club - the grange) where we'll decide who gets this years trophy ,....... brides now being taken !!!!! ..... only joking !!! (not really !) .... it's worth going for the fun fair alone ,... (see "my home movies" dvd.)

i'm on iain lee's virgin radio show next tuesday night (8th june) from 10pm till 11pm ,..
and the great news is .... that mr. lee has agreed to join me live onstage for my "unroyal varietey show" at the bull and gate in kentish town on 19th july along with the 'royal jugs' who are ace and played at craggy island with me earlier in the year ,.. and also my "oh blimey big band" (plus other suprise acts to be added) ... for tickets go to www.wegotickets.com/event/32606
